LitX is a cohort of teachers and administrators who have over a century of combined classroom experience using pop culture as educational texts. We offer a range of services for schools and publishers including:

Professional development sessions in-person and virtual covering:

• Comics and graphic novels in the classroom
• Music as an educational resource
• Film and television media as text
• Visual learning across the curriculum
• Improv as a teaching tool
• Literacy instruction through non-traditional texts

These sessions can be tailored for your needs as well in terms of length and subject focus. We can do sessions for 1-6 hours and/or workshops that can span multiple days.

We also offer services for artists and publishers including:

• Lesson planning and teacher guides for specific books or series
• Assistance in workshop and panel proposals for educational and fan conferences
• Moderation/interview services for live and virtual events
• Scriptwriting and consultation for graphic novels, comics, and film
